Luncheon Case Discussion

Christian Ownership Maximalism and Business Ownership as a Vocation.

Using a “beefy” article from First Things and related reference materials from the Compendium Social Doctrine of the Church, we will explore the notion of business ownership and exit strategies through the lens of the Church’s social teaching which serves as a practical framework to not only avoid the class warfare of socialism and anti-capitalism but moreover to see business ownership with a vocational purpose. The article and reference materials are non-trivial and merit a thoughtful pre-read before our case discussion luncheon.
